Nestled in the heart of Suffolk

Braiseworth Orchards is a family-run apple farm committed to growing exciting, high-quality apples that delight consumers.

Braiseworth Orchards

With 25 hectares of orchards and around 60,000 trees, we focus on flavour, innovation, and sustainability. Our apples are hand-picked with care by a loyal, skilled team and supplied to top UK retailers like M&S and Waitrose.

History of the Farm

Fruit has been grown at Braiseworth since before WWII, but in 2001, Jeremy Linsell took over—bringing decades of experience in apple farming and variety development.
Since then, the farm has evolved into a hub for pioneering apple varieties and sustainable practices, with Jeremy also playing a leading technical role in international breeding programmes through Worldwide Fruit.
In 2024, Braiseworth, entered its next phase of development, as it became part of the Boxford Group, a family run and pioneering fruit farming business with a long history of growing top-quality apples in East Anglia.

At Braiseworth, sustainability is at the core of everything we do.

We farm in harmony with nature, using:

To attract pollinators and beneficial insects.

Including predatory insects and organic bittersalts.

Such as compost and local farmyard manure to enrich our loamy soils.

For sustainable irrigation.

To enhance fruit colour naturally

We invest in modern tools like weather stations and pheromone traps to make informed, minimal-input decisions, and we’re gradually replacing chemical sprays with biological controls.
